Due to the increasing cases of Corona virus in Karachi, the Sindh Health Department has proposed banning public gatherings and PSL-style events in the city and PCB has announced to follow the government’s proposal.

There are still five matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL5) to be held in Karachi, but in the meantime, the health department has recommended the provincial government to ban public gatherings in the city due to the threat of the outbreak of Corona virus.

Pakistan Cricket Board officials also attended the meeting of the highest level of health department in Karachi and the issue of matches in Karachi was also considered.

In this regard, spokesman PCB said that the top PCB officials are in touch with the Sindh government and they are also attending meetings with the government.

The spokesperson said that the PCB will fully implement whatever health advisory the government may have.

According to PCB officials, Dr Khan will arrive in Karachi today to review the PSL arrangements but currently the matches will be on schedule.
