Details of safety equipment distributed to hospitals

ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has released details of safety equipment distributed to hospitals and health workers across the country.
According to the NDMA spokesperson, safety equipment was distributed to hospitals and health workers in all four provinces, including Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. The NDMA distributed safety equipment to hospitals and health workers across the country in four phases.
The NDMA spokesman said that the protective equipment sent to all the provinces included 153,565 N95 masks and 3,891,588 face masks. The protective equipment includes 955,417 protective suits and 144,467 gowns. Along with this, 1,033,643 gloves, 346,896 surgical caps and 36,520 face shields besides 2,11,244 shoe covers and 97,982 spectacles have been distributed among the protective equipment.
According to the NDMA spokesperson, the details of all the goods given to the provinces are available on the NDMA website. Plenty of testing kits have been sent to all the provinces.
