LAHORE : Governor Punjab Muhammad Sarwar Ch Monday said
that PTI government led by Prime Minister Imran Khan attached great importance
to business community and will continue to support them by solving their
problems confronted by them on top priority.
Speaking at a reception hosted by Shahid Nazir Ch CEO Filter House here
in honour of all PIAF-Founder alliance candidates contesting the forthcoming
annual election of the Lahore chamber, Governor said that deadly Coronavirus
besides colossal human losses also badly affected the global economy.
He said that Pakistan after bearing the brunt of the Coronavirus has
put the national economy back on track. He said that now the economy is taking
off in all sectors and showing upward trends of hopeful indicators. He said
that Prime Minister keep on having direct interaction with private sector to
address their problems to help accelerate the economic activities in the
country.
Briefly speaking on the occasion veteran trade leader and President SAARC
Chamber Iftikhar Ali Malik said that FIAF-Founder alliance has fielded one of
the best dedicated candidates representing all markets and hoped that their
fully potential contestants will continue sweep the Lahore chamber election
for last consecutive 18 years.He urged the candidates to serve the interest of
the business community selflessly and help solve problems of traders at local
provincial and federal level as Lahore chamber is the oldest in Pakistan
established in 1923.
