ISLAMABAD
Under the directives of Nawaz Sharif , Capt (Retd) Safdar has pacified PML-N disgruntled leader Iqbal Zafar Jhagra in the first phase of the mission aimed at bringing back the disgruntled leaders to PML-N.
PML-N provincial president Amir Muqam and senior leader Iqbal Zafar Jhagri hammered out their differences and moved to the path of reconciliation.
Capt (Retd) Safdar has struck reconciliation between the two and sent report to Nawaz Sharif.
PML-N sources said Capt (Retd) Safdar now will take Amir Muqam to former chief minister Sardar Mehtab Abbasi. The differences between Sardar Mehtab Abbasi and Murtaza Javed Abbasi will be got hammered out.
Capt (Retd) Safdar has met ANP senior leader Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilore in Peshawar. The two have exchanged views on political and electoral cooperation in future.
Sources said Nawaz Sharif wants to end all groupings within party before his visit to KP. He has assigned task to Maryam Nawaz, Amir Muqam and Capt (Retd) Safdar.
Nawaz Sharif is likely to meet Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in coming days.
Nawaz Sharif will visit Sindh in the last week of November. Provincial president PML-N Bashir Memon is giving final shape to Nawaz Sharif visit to Sindh.
During this visit several leaders will join PML-N. Nawaz Sharif will meet MQM leadership and Pir Pagara as well
