Abundant amount of water has been stored in the dams built under the Irrigation department. By the grace of Allah, all the dams built in Kharan are safe and intact. Siraj Ahmed Engineer Inamullah Mengal along with Engineer Najibur Rehman inspected the various dams and on this occasion he issued instructions to his field engineers to supervise all the dams constructed in Kharan district.

At present there is plenty of water in all the dams and by the grace of Allah all the dams that are there are completely safe except the recently constructed dams in Kharan district have also been inspected and the work is progressing rapidly. For which Engineer Siraj Ahmed gave a briefing and in the briefing he said that the amount allocated for this year is very less if the work continues at this pace then God willing this scheme will also be completed by the end of December. Kharan will be a gift to the public from the Irrigation Department, besides SE Irrigation has directed its staff wherever there are suitable locations in Kharan district.

They should be surveyed immediately and sent to the higher authorities of the irrigation department so that severe water shortage in the district can be removed. Drinking water is being provided not only to the irrigation department but also to the agriculture department from these dams, he said. He also directed his staff to liaise with the Public Health Engineering Department to take steps to provide water facilities to the people.
