The flow of water in Hana Lake and the drainage system in the lake is working in a completely natural and proper way

Quetta August 11: There is no need for the public to be afraid of the news published by the Provincial Irrigation Department, Quetta Circle, regarding water leakage in Hana Lake. The flow of water in the lake and the seepage system in the lake are working in a proper and natural manner, due to the recent monsoon rains, the lake has accumulated a large amount of water.

The lake is completely safe and strong. A comprehensive project to supply water to the lake was underway which is in its final stages of completion while more work will be started soon to protect the dam from any unforeseen situation and in this regard the Govt. Balochistan has put forward a plan in this year’s development program for the financial year 2024-25, which includes several projects to stop drilling and water leakage in a scientifically based and sustainable manner.

It has been said in the statement that Hana Lake is a valuable asset of the nation and whenever there is a need to restore it, the Irrigation Department and its team have proactively taken proactive steps and assure the public that the Irrigation Department throughout the province will continue to do so. I will take all possible measures to store water and protect waterways.
