The funeral prayers of Deputy Commissioner Panjgur Shaheed Zakir Baloch were offered at Mima graveyard in Absar area of Turbat on Wednesday.
On this occasion, Commissioner Makran Daud Khalji, Deputy Commissioner KACH Ismail Ibrahim, Additional Deputy Commissioner KACH Khalil Murad, Additional Deputy Commissioner Gwadar Tabish-e-Ali Baloch, Director General of Environment Department Izzat Nazir Baloch, his friends and relatives, including public circles, attended the funeral prayer. A large number were present.
After the funeral prayer, the body of Shaheed Zakir Baloch was buried with official honors and his body was saluted by the Balochistan Levies Force.
Later, in recognition of the services of Shaheed Zakir Baloch, Commissioner Makran Daud Khan Khalji, Deputy Commissioner KACH Ismail Ibrahim, former Deputy Commissioner Gwadar and Director General of Environment Department Izzat Nazir Baloch, Additional Deputy Commissioner KACH Khalil Murad and DPO KACH Zia Mandukhel. A bouquet of flowers was placed on the grave.
It should be noted that Deputy Commissioner Panjgur Zakir Baloch was seriously injured in the firing of terrorists near Khad Kocha area of Mustang in the past days and he was admitted to the hospital of Mustang where he succumbed to his injuries and was martyred while along with him municipal Committee Panjgur Chairman Abdul Malik was injured in this incident
