Member of Provincial Council of Pakistan People’s Party, District Vice Chairman Mir Asfandyar Khan Yar Muhammad Zai says that the local officers of Recodek project do not trust the members of the district council in the development works. A situation arises.
Talking exclusively to Balochistan 24, he said that Rekodic Chagai’s head is on the ground.
It is important to trust the chairman of the union councils of the area in which they work in Chagai, they can guide them better.
He further said that if the local officials of Rekodik keep their attitude like this, it will create uncertainty among the people and the grassroots representatives of the area.
Local officers restrict the representatives to briefings only, although the developments in the briefings are contrary to the facts on the ground.
According to him: No special work has been done on health, education, poverty and unemployment.
Chagai is a backward area, local project officers take local representatives into confidence so that uncertainty is removed.
The vice-chairman says that we are people’s representatives at the grassroots level, people have elected us by voting.
Now people are asking us but we have no answer regarding the project.
We request the higher officers of Rekodik to take notice of this behavior of the local officers and direct them to take the district council chairman and vice chairman and 23 union council members into confidence to work in the area on an equal footing.
