The meeting was attended by Principals of Government Degree Colleges, District Education Officers, representatives of Axin B&R, UNICEF and other concerned officers, who were present with full determination to raise the quality of education. The main objective of the meeting was to district The inactive schools were to be reactivated. At present, 56 schools are inactive in Gwadar district, the main reason for which is the lack of teachers.
Recently, due to the tireless efforts of the Deputy Commissioner, Gwadar, interviews were conducted for the recruitment of teachers on temporary basis to rehabilitate 17 schools, resulting in 11 schools becoming fully functional. The Deputy Commissioner announced that the remaining schools will also be restored soon so that every child in the district has access to education. , and the costs thereof shall be borne by them themselves.
He strongly urged the education department that no school should remain closed due to lack of teachers. Wherever necessary, temporary teachers will be recruited, and teachers who are doing voluntary service will also be kept temporarily. And directed the Principal Girls Degree College to submit a detailed report on the issue so that this educational institution can be made functional as soon as possible.
In the meeting, discussions were also held regarding the transfer and activation of schools closed due to population migration to other areas. Plans have been made to activate 9 schools in the district with the support of UNICEF. The Deputy Commissioner fixed a time of 15 days. A representative of UNICEF said that currently development work is going on in 21 schools, and children are being educated in 19 ALP schools. assured that no such case report has been received so far.
