Quetta September 10. A review meeting of District Education Committee was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Quetta Muhammad Anwar Kakar. District Education Officer, DO Male, DO Female, RTCM Officer and besides DDOs of all schools of Quetta and staff of female schools also participated in the meeting.
In the meeting, a detailed report was presented about non-teachers and non-teaching staff of all girls’ schools in Quetta. While presenting the report, DO Quetta said that there were continuously absent staff in the schools, including Government Girls High School Pashtunabad, Gasford Girls High School, Mohalla Girls High School, Mominabad Girls High School, Government Boys High School Railway Colony, Govt. Girls High School Bibi Nani Ziarat, Govt Girls High School Bashirabad, Govt Boys High School Bileli, Govt Girls High School Khilji Colony, Govt Girls High School Mominabad, Govt High School Wahdat Colony and absentee teachers in various schools. Attending teachers, janitors and sweepers are included.
A report was also asked about the retired teachers in the meeting. A detailed briefing was given in the meeting with the names of all the teachers and the date of their absence. In the meeting, it was decided to stop the salaries of teachers who are continuously absent and show-cause notices will be issued to the teachers of different schools. And the teachers who have been repeatedly warned, even though show-cause notices have been issued, will be dismissed from the job under the powers of the District Education Committee.
Addressing the meeting, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) said that they will tighten the siege against the absent teachers and will not allow anyone to do wrong. Do this so that timely action can be taken against the absent teachers and non-teaching staff.
