Lasbela 1st October 2024: Secretary Fisheries and Coastal Development Balochistan Javed Anwar Shahwani said that the first university of marine sciences in Pakistan is an honor for Lasbela and the people of Balochistan. If opportunities are available, such a policy will also benefit the fishermen
He expressed these views while talking to the university administration on the occasion of his visit to Lasbella University of Agriculture and Marine Sciences. We have a large part of the sea in Pakistan and we want the marine students from Lasbella University to benefit from it and provide them with decent employment.
In this regard, the agreement signed with the University of Marine Science Lasbella is our effort to listen to their problems and take measures for the welfare of the fishermen and joint marine research. The facility will be available and God willing, other problems of the building will be solved and recruitments will be made in the same year. Mohandas Lassi and other officers were also with him.
