Deputy Speaker Balochistan Provincial Assembly Ms. Ghazala Gola visited District Jail Quetta along with MPA Ms. Shahida Rauf, FDI Organization and Women Development Organization. During his visit, he expressed his commitment to listen to the concerns of women prisoners and children and solve their problems.
The Deputy Speaker assured the women prisoners that their problems would be addressed on priority basis, efforts would be made to ensure their welfare and rehabilitation.
The Deputy Speaker said that we are determined to solve the problems of all prisoners, especially women prisoners. Our focus is on education and skill development of prisoners for a better future.
Ms. Ghazala Gola assured the cooperation between the provincial assembly and prison authorities for the implementation of reforms.
Inspector General Jail Shujauddin Kasi and Superintendent Jail informed the Deputy Speaker about the ongoing measures and challenges.
Deputy Speaker Balochistan Assembly Ms. Ghazala Gola also distributed gifts among women prisoners. This visit shows the determination of Balochistan Assembly for the welfare of prisoners.
