The Election Tribunal in Quetta has started hearing the appeal filed on the election results of Constituency B-31.

Justice Abdullah Baloch of the Balochistan High Court is hearing the case.

During the hearing of the case on Monday, MPA Zabid Reiki appeared in the court and recorded his statement.

After the hearing of the case, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s MPA Haji Mir Zabid Ali Reiki spoke to the media and strongly denied the allegations in the election results.

He said that “the allegations made regarding the change of polling stations and the Returning Officer (RO) are baseless and false.

” Zabid Reiki reiterated that there was no rigging or irregularity in the election process and all legal requirements were met.

He also said that “the losing candidates should morally accept responsibility for their defeat.”

According to him, if an individual objects to the election results, he should take legal recourse and accept that it is part of a democratic process.

Mir Zabid Reki added that he hopes the esteemed judiciary will fulfill all the requirements of justice in this case.

The District Election Officer (DEO) and other concerned authorities also confirmed their presence during the hearing of the case.

The next hearing of the election disqualification case of Constituency B-31 in the Election Tribunal has been fixed for December 18.
