Dalbandin: A grand event was held in Dalbandin on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s birth anniversary.
As part of the celebrations, a football match was played between the Chaghi Green Club and Chaghi Red Football Club, where Green Football Club won by 5 goals.
The special guest of the event was Brigadier Sajjad Ali, Commander of Headquarters Dalbandin Rifles. The ceremony was also attended by Deputy Commissioner Chaghi Ata-ul-Munim Baloch, Assistant Commissioner Dalbandin Abdul Basit Buzdar, Major Naqash, District Vice Chairman Asfandyar Khan Yar Mohammad Zai, tribal elders, and a large number of spectators.
Additionally, various sports events were organized at the Officers’ Club to mark Quaid-e-Azam’s birthday.
Brigadier Sajjad Ali also visited the Officers’ Club, where he was warmly welcomed by tribal elders and participants.
Brigadier Sajjad Ali distributed prizes among the winning players and congratulated them.
Cash prizes were also awarded to the players.
During his address to the players and spectators, Brigadier Sajjad Ali emphasized that Chaghi District has talented athletes in all sports; what they need is encouragement.
He further stated that FC Dalbandin Headquarters is actively supporting athletes, not only in health and education but also in the sports fields.
Brigadier Sajjad Ali added that a healthy society is one where sports fields thrive.
The development of sports fields provides local athletes the opportunity to showcase their talent, and it also contributes to the overall growth of the region.
Brigadier Sajjad Ali also highlighted the importance of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s birth anniversary and said that Quaid-e-Azam’s hard work and determination led to the creation of Pakistan as an independent state.
He emphasized that we should cherish this day, as it marks the birth of the founder of our nation, who, with his vision and leadership, established Pakistan as an independent state, and today we breathe in a free country.
On this special occasion, various sports events were organized in Dalbandin, including futsal, snooker, taekwondo, and others.
Brigadier Sajjad Ali, Deputy Commissioner Chaghi Ata-ul-Munim Baloch, and other district and military officers specially attended these events, encouraging the players and distributing prizes.
