Quetta: A tragic accident occurred in a coal mine in the Sanjdi area, where several miners were trapped.

Provincial Minister for Minerals, Shoaib Nosherwani, stated that the rescue operation is ongoing, and so far, four bodies have been recovered.

He further mentioned that eight miners are still trapped in the mine, and all available resources are being utilized to rescue them.

The Chief Inspector of Mines is personally on-site, overseeing the operation.

Rescue teams are working tirelessly to retrieve the remaining miners, and an investigation into the incident has also been initiated.
