Quetta January 21. Deputy Commissioner Quetta Lt. (R) Saad bin Asad visited Chamber of Commerce Small Industry here today, on this occasion the members of the Chamber warmly welcomed him.

 

Deputy Commissioner Quetta chaired the meeting regarding the solution of the city’s problems. In the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Quetta was given a detailed briefing about Pak-Iran business problems and resources. Deputy Commissioner Quetta informed the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce Small Industry about the ongoing works under the supervision of the district administration. 12 thousand registered rickshaws are plying in Quetta city while there are 19 thousand unregistered illegal rickshaws due to which the traffic management is getting worse day by day against these illegal rickshaws. Administration and RTA are doing joint operations.

 

The Deputy Commissioner also gave a briefing about the ongoing operations of the district administration against price control and anti-encroachment. Deputy Commissioner Quetta said that there is a price control committee in which district administration, police, chamber of commerce, various associations, scholars and civil society members are members who analyze the food items and determine their prices.

 

 

The district administration conducted a huge crackdown against the poultry mafia and also took action against all other mafias, after which the price of chicken returned to normal and the chickens are being found in the market according to the official price list. Deputy Commissioner of Quetta put questions before the representatives of Commerce and the problems faced in the city.

 

A day should be set aside for traders in the Arms License Branch of the DC office to make it easier for us, on which the Deputy Commissioner assured to implement it as soon as possible and said that the day would be set aside for traders. Along with this, actions should be taken against the mafia on Joint Road, Masjid Road, Liaquat Bazar, Kandahari Bazar, Abdul Sattar Road and Sariab Road, which road is completely closed.

 

The representatives of the Chamber of Commerce have called for an immediate ban on unregistered associations and the lack of washrooms in the city, the city should be cleaned by removing the garbage piles in the city, in addition to taking action against one-wheeling on Hana Oorak Road and banning it completely. be imposed. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Quetta said that arms license has been linked with NADRA, similarly the role of agents in DC office will be terminated by linking local/domicile with NADRA. Washrooms will be constructed at different locations across the city.

 

The ghost employees were eliminated from the Metropolitan and given to public benefit partnership, which has improved to a great extent in terms of cleanliness in the city. 25 new green buses have been approved which will be a good initiative for Quetta city and will bring convenience to the public. Similarly, timber depots are shifting garages and dairy farms out of the city. Talking about the encroachments, he said that the district administration is taking action against the encroachments on a daily basis. Public support is very important to end the encroachments.

 

Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized on planting trees. Finally, the Chamber of Commerce appreciated the ongoing works of the district administration and the efforts for the improvement of Quetta city.
