Appointment of Judges from Other Provinces to Islamabad High Court is a Positive Step: Mir Attaullah Langove

The President of the Balochistan High Court Bar Association, Mir Attaullah Langove, has welcomed the appointment of judges from other provinces to the Islamabad High Court, stating that the Constitution of Pakistan grants the President the authority to appoint and transfer judges.

 

In his statement, he emphasized that the appointment of senior and competent judges to the Islamabad High Court is a commendable step in accordance with constitutional principles and will contribute to the improvement of the judicial system.

 

Mir Attaullah Langove praised the recent appointment of three judges from Balochistan, Sindh, and Lahore to the Islamabad High Court by the President of Pakistan.

 

He highlighted that Article 200 of the Constitution empowers the President to transfer judges from one high court to another.

 

He further stated that these appointments reflect a commitment to upholding the Constitution, and the Balochistan High Court Bar Association values all such measures that strengthen the rule of law and enhance the efficiency of the judicial system.
