Members of the Assembly Unfamiliar with English: Missed Opportunities for Global Projects for Balochistan’s Development
Balochistan Assembly members’ educational shortcomings have severely damaged the province’s global reputation.
Out of the 65 members of the assembly, more than half lack proficiency in reading and writing English.
This educational deficiency has hindered their participation in important negotiations and projects during foreign trips, resulting in a failure to bring developmental projects to Balochistan.
The majority of Balochistan’s assembly members who go on foreign trips are unable to communicate effectively in English, which becomes a significant barrier in international discussions and negotiations.
This shortcoming not only affects their personal performance but also creates difficulties in securing potential developmental projects for the province.
As a result, Balochistan’s assembly members have failed to bring critical global projects to the province.
Projects that were promised have either been delayed or moved to other provinces.
This has had a direct negative impact on Balochistan’s development, further exacerbating the province’s underdevelopment.
These representatives, who were elected to represent Balochistan on the global stage, are now only focused on protecting their political positions.
Their primary goal—bringing vital projects for Balochistan’s development—has taken a back seat, as they have become more concerned with personal and political interests.
Considering this dire situation, it is clear that there is an urgent need to improve the educational standards of Balochistan’s assembly members.
To address the lack of English proficiency, immediate training programs and educational reforms should be initiated so that Balochistan can have effective representation on the global stage and bring the necessary projects for the province’s development.
The educational deficiencies of Balochistan’s assembly members have greatly harmed the province’s global standing and are creating obstacles in securing important development projects.
These members, who go on foreign trips, have failed to bring projects to Balochistan due to their inability to communicate in English. There is an urgent need to enhance the educational capabilities of assembly members so that they can represent the province effectively on a global level.
