Governor Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandokhel has said that our aim is to establish a modern “IT Park” in Quetta city that will provide a center for technological innovation and progress according to our modern needs.

The advent of digital information technology has ushered in an era of rapid change where new human behaviors are being formed and the perspectives of evaluating and judging things are also changing. However, our limited resources and multiplicity of problems require a comprehensive strategy to avoid a growing crisis.

It should be noted that only our timely and wise planning can save us from a dire future. He expressed these views while giving a briefing on behalf of Raheel Jamil, CEO of Radius Group.

On this occasion, Governor Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandokhel said that due to our conscious efforts and full attention, higher education has flourished throughout the province. It is heartening that our eleven public sector universities currently have hundreds of international-level PhD scholars, researchers and educationists, whose knowledge and experience can help us chart new paths for a bright and secure future.

He said that as we enter the era of artificial intelligence and robotic technology, it is becoming clear that mental capacity is increasingly dominating physical strength and this gradually changing scenario will soon make our traditional thinking and approach ineffective and irrelevant.

The Governor of Balochistan said that at present, as a nation, we are facing two different challenges, one is to adopt modernity while the other is to abandon outdated traditional habits and practices forever. However, keeping in mind the public interest, we have the ability to easily overcome many challenges through mutual understanding, people-friendly policies and wise planning.
