Serious allegations have surfaced regarding irregularities in the recruitment of teachers on a contract basis by the Education Department in Dera Bugti.

During the distribution of appointment orders, the absence of the District Education Officer (DEO) and the issuance of appointment orders to favored candidates on pre-signed blank pages by unrelated individuals have further fueled controversy.

The absence of the DEO during the distribution ceremony raised suspicions among the public. Reports suggest that unrelated individuals used pre-signed blank pages to issue appointment orders to their preferred candidates and posted them to desired locations.

Local residents have condemned this as a highly regrettable, illegal, and unethical practice. They have demanded an immediate investigation into the matter.

Abdul Waheed, a resident of Dera Bugti’s tehsil Phailawagh, has accused the Education Department of serious injustices in the merit list. Despite possessing genuine BA and ADE degrees, his ADE degree was falsely labeled as fake in the merit list, even though he has the original documents.

Abdul Waheed has called for an immediate investigation and requested that his original documents be uploaded on social media to ensure justice. He also revealed that individuals without even original FSC documents have been recruited in his union, raising questions about the integrity of the merit system.

Serious allegations of irregularities have also emerged regarding the recruitment under the quota for disabled individuals in Dera Bugti. It is alleged that the son of ADC Dera Bugti, Abdul Azim, was recruited under the disabled quota, sparking severe criticism at the local level.

Nadeem Kalpar Bugti, Chairman of the Bugti Youth Movement, condemned the situation, stating that this injustice in the constituency of Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti raises concerns about what might be happening in other districts. He urged the Chief Minister and DC Dera Bugti, Zuhaib Haq, to conduct an immediate investigation and ensure that disabled individuals receive their rightful due.

In another controversial case, a 50-year-old individual was recruited as a teacher in Dera Bugti, despite the government of Pakistan considering retirement laws for individuals over 50. This has raised questions about whether the recruitment aligns with merit-based principles.

Local residents are demanding an immediate investigation into these matters and justice for those affected by the injustices.

So far, no official statement has been issued by any government authority regarding these allegations. The government’s silence has further intensified the anger and frustration of the locals, who are calling for prompt action.
