Quetta, January 8
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday congratulated Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti on his election as Chief of the Bugti tribe and the completion of the traditional turban-tying ceremony.
During his visit to Quetta, the prime minister met members of the provincial and national assemblies and provincial ministers, where he extended heartfelt congratulations to the chief minister on assuming the tribal leadership role. He remarked that Mir Sarfraz Bugti’s leadership would play an important role not only in Balochistan’s politics but also in strengthening tribal traditions and promoting social harmony.
Prime Minister Sharif expressed confidence that the chief minister would continue to fulfill his responsibilities with wisdom, foresight, and a strong commitment to public service. He conveyed his best wishes for Mir Sarfraz Bugti’s success in both his political and tribal roles.
