Quetta, Jan 12:
Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has announced the launch of the province’s first fully merit-based and paperless online recruitment process for 111 government posts, describing it as a major step toward transparency and institutional reforms.
In a message on social media platform X, the Chief Minister said government jobs would not be sold or influenced through favoritism, emphasizing that restoring public trust remains the government’s top priority.
He said the new system will initially be implemented in the Finance Department, where candidates will undergo online testing and transparent scrutiny of qualifications. Successful candidates will receive appointment letters within one hour.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti termed the initiative historic, stating that the system will be extended to all provincial departments in phases to eliminate corruption and ensure merit-based hiring across Balochistan.
