Jaffarabad, January 16, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Jaffarabad Khalid Khan chaired an important meeting of the District Health Committee to review healthcare services and address operational challenges in the district.
During the meeting, the District Health Officer briefed participants on the performance of health facilities, stating that doctors and paramedical staff are actively providing medical services across the district. He informed the meeting that disciplinary action is ongoing against absent staff, while the availability of essential medicines at health centers is being ensured.
Addressing the meeting, the deputy commissioner stressed that timely access to basic healthcare is the top priority of the district administration. He directed relevant departments to immediately resolve issues affecting non-functional health facilities so that patients do not face inconvenience.
Khalid Khan warned that negligence, absenteeism, or lack of professional responsibility would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He instructed health officials to further improve performance and strengthen coordination among departments to ensure effective delivery of healthcare services to the public.
