Sibi, January 17 — A modern computer lab aimed at empowering educated women through free online employment opportunities was inaugurated at Divisional Public School Sibi. The facility was formally opened by Commissioner Sibi Division Asadullah Faiz, alongside Principal Hafiz Asad-ul-Haq and CEO Web Balochistan Sakina Abdullah.
The initiative focuses on providing women with free training in e-commerce and digital skills, enabling them to earn a livelihood from home. The lab is equipped with high-speed internet and modern systems to support online jobs and business learning.
Addressing the ceremony, Commissioner Asadullah Faiz said the project reflects the administration’s commitment to women’s economic empowerment. He emphasized that skilled women can sell handmade and digital products globally through online platforms.
CEO Web Balochistan Sakina Abdullah assured full technical support and briefed students on digital business opportunities. Officials stated the lab will operate 24 hours a day, marking a significant step toward financial independence and inclusion of women in Sibi.
