Harnai/Panjgur, January 29:

Security forces carried out two decisive intelligence-based operations in Balochistan on January 29, 2026, killing a total of 41 terrorists linked with India-backed outfits ‘Fitna-ul-Khawarij’ and ‘Fitna-ul-Hindustan’.

According to official details, the first operation was launched on the outskirts of Harnai after credible intelligence confirmed the presence of Fitna-ul-Khawarij militants in the area. Security forces surrounded the hideout and engaged the terrorists, resulting in a fierce gun battle. As a consequence of the operation, 30 India-sponsored militants were eliminated. A significant cache of weapons and explosives was recovered from the site and subsequently destroyed in accordance with standard operating procedures.

In a separate operation in Panjgur, security forces targeted a hideout belonging to Fitna-ul-Hindustan militants. Eleven Indian-backed terrorists were neutralized during the raid. Arms, ammunition and cash—looted during a bank robbery on December 15, 2025—were recovered from their possession. The militants killed in the operation were reportedly involved in several terrorist activities in the region.

Following the operations, security forces initiated comprehensive sanitization efforts in both Harnai and Panjgur to ensure the complete clearance of any remaining India-backed elements. Officials stated that under the federal National Action Plan and the framework of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” security forces and law enforcement agencies remain fully committed to an uncompromising campaign aimed at eliminating terrorism sponsored and supported by foreign entities.
