Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Sunday said that we want negotiations instead of war, but India is constantly avoiding dialogue.
The Foreign Minister was addressing a ceremony in New York before taking his route back to home.
Qureshi said that India ruined negotiations. They will also have to pay price for it. Pakistan is not afraid of conversations and negotiations, since we are on the right side. Pakistan’s narrative is true and strong, the Foreign Minister said.
Drawing a contrast between Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine, Qureshi said that I burst into tears after having a look at Palestine and Kashmir circumstances. The situation is not much different in IIOJK and Palestine. Kashmiris have also been abducted in the name of ‘search operations’.
The Foreign Minister said that I have clarified before UN Secretary General that there wouldn’t be any peace in Middle East unless Palestine issue is resolved. Similarly, there wouldn’t be peace in South Asia also unless there is a permanent solution to J&K dispute. I am returning to Pakistan after a very successful visit, said Qureshi.
