Former Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi while taking exception to the NAB third amendment ordinance has said new ordinance is based on mala fide intent.

“ New NAB amendment ordinance is not applied to government theft. They should say ordinance will be applicable to PML-N only. Chairman NAB will be appointed life time. The powers to remove chairman NAB from his office have been delegated to the president”, he said this while talking to media men here Tuesday.
Under new ordinance president can remove chairman NAB at any time, he pointed out.

I have been saying from the very first day NAB ordinance seems to have been based on malafide intent. They bring ordinance before us within ten minutes.

He underlined don’t play with the law as it will create difficulty for the government, he cautioned.

They should show to people how much corruption PML-N has committed, he demanded. The presente government has reached people homes. Rs 70 out of sale price of sugar of Rs 120 per kilogram is going to the pockets of Imran Khan and his corrupt ministers.

Who gave money to whom in broad sheet, no one knows it, he observed.

NAB prosecutor and employees will be in the dock, he remarked.

He demanded of the government to make public its accord with TLP saying government first declared a party proscribed and then fell on its feet.

How the accord with banned TLP was made, it has not come before public why, he questioned.
