Dhaka 29 August 2024: Chairman Municipal Committee Malik Kaleemullah Khan Tareen visited the areas affected by the recent rains, Gharibabad, Kashif Petrol Pump, Eastern Bypass.

Chief Officer Municipal Committee Samudran Khan Nasir, Ata Muhammad Tareen and others were also present with him. Taking notice of the standing rain water and the blockage of the drainage channel, he assured the residents that the drainage channel will be opened with the help of an excavator.

He said that the drainage channel has been closed by the nearby shopkeepers who are being warned for the last time not to encroach and block the drainage channels otherwise it will be legal.
