Improving travel facilities is essential to increase women’s education and employment opportunities in Balochistan Dr. Rababa Khan Bilidi

Quetta (September 10, 2024) – Adviser to Chief Minister Balochistan on Women Development Department, Dr. Rababa Khan Bilidi has said that it is imperative to improve travel facilities to increase education and employment opportunities for women in Balochistan. He expressed these views during a meeting with Parliamentary Secretary for Transport, MPA Abdul Majeed Badini on Tuesday.

Dr. Rababa Khan Bilidi said that to ensure the education and training of women in the province, it is necessary to provide them with safe, reliable and convenient travel facilities. He emphasized the need to run special buses for women, especially students, and to reduce the fares, saying that these measures will help the women of the province achieve more success in the educational and professional fields.

He further said that in order to empower women, all relevant institutions must work together to effectively promote gender equality and women’s rights. Dr. Rababa Khan Bilidi assured full support regarding specific measures for women in the transport sector and said that the Balochistan government is taking all possible steps to solve the problems of women. Dr. Rababa Khan Bilidi said on this occasion that the development of Balochistan is not possible without ensuring the participation of women.
