QUETTA (Report: Yahya Riki) National Project Coordinator Humanitarian Network Pakistan Gul Khan Naseer has said that social audit of development projects is necessary to maintain the quality and transparency of work, it is the responsibility of every member of the society to identify the flaws in time while visiting the ongoing projects in their areas. A one-day training workshop was organized on the topic of social audit for social workers and partner organizations under the auspices of social organization Hope Balochistan with the support of Fansa Pakistan.

On this occasion, National Project Coordinator Netergul Khan Naseer, Trainer Rukh Khalid Daltif Abbasi and Advocacy Officer Anam Malik Mengal while giving a briefing to the participants said that in any government or non-government organization, issues related to development work have to be reviewed in which various issues are looked at. is working on the project regarding the thesis, under the project, training workshops are being organized to increase the capacity of social workers in addition to awareness at the community level, various projects are audited in government institutions every year, for the first time the participants of the workshop are being informed about social audit so that They can go to their areas and review the various projects. He said that it is necessary that the social workers and partner organizations cross-audit the quality of work in the ongoing project regarding sanitation.

 

Development projects are started with the money collected from people’s taxes and as a responsible citizen it is our responsibility to review them and point out the flaws in time. Can conduct social audit of any development project. The participants greatly appreciated the organization of the workshop on the important topic under the auspices of Hope Balochistan and hopefully such trainings will be held in the future as well. Earlier, Abdul Hai Advocate, Riaz Baloch, Shizan William, Sadiq Samalani, Bahram Lahri, Mir Bahram Baloch and others participated in the workshop.
