(R) Saad bin Asad, the district administration is conducting operations against the high street sellers and profiteers in different areas of Quetta. Checked prices and quality at general stores while weighing at ovens. Meanwhile, 28 shopkeepers, oven and petrol pump owners were arrested for taking illegal profits

In which 3 shopkeepers were transferred to jail. During this period, 16 shops and 07 petrol pumps were sealed and fines were imposed on 25 shopkeepers while strict notices were issued to 21 shopkeepers for the future. Nawan Kali, Gul Muhammad Kali, Munir Ahmad Khan Road and Gahi Khan Chowk area were conducted. The operations were supervised by Assistant Commissioner Kuchlak, Special Magistrate Ahsamuddin Kakar, Special Magistrate Haseeb Sardar and Magistrate Khadim Hussain.

In addition to this, Assistant Commissioner (City) Captain (R) Abdullah Bin Arif visited Joint Road Mini Petrol Pumps according to public complaints and the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Quetta.
