The Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA) Quetta has intensified its crackdown on illegal tube wells, unauthorized water connections, and defaulters who have failed to pay their outstanding bills.

This operation is being carried out under the directives of Provincial Minister for PHE/WASA Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Secretary Mir Imran Gichki, and WASA Managing Director Muhammad Gul Khalji.

Director Revenue Sohail Anjum and his team conducted an operation in Pashtunabad, targeting defaulters of private tube wells.

As a result, outstanding dues were recovered, and three tube wells were sealed due to non-payment.

WASA officials have stated that this crackdown will continue across the city. Commercial, domestic, and private tube well owners have been warned to clear their outstanding bills immediately.

Failure to do so will result in the sealing of tube wells and disconnection of water supply connections.

The department has also urged citizens to cooperate in preventing water wastage and ensuring compliance with legal requirements to maintain fair water distribution throughout the city.
