AIRSIAL Launches Karachi–Quetta Flights, Boosting Air Connectivity

Quetta, January 16, 2026: AIRSIAL Airline has officially commenced flight operations between Karachi and Quetta, marking a significant improvement in air connectivity for Balochistan. The new service has been facilitated by Quetta International Airport under the management of the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA).
According to airport officials, AIRSIAL will operate three weekly flights on this route every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, offering increased travel options for passengers. The inaugural flight, AIRSIAL 161, operated on an Airbus A320, landed in Quetta at 3:15 PM with 180 passengers onboard. The return flight departed for Karachi at 4:32 PM carrying 199 passengers.
An inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officials of PAA, representatives of AIRSIAL, Airport Security Force officers, air traffic control officials, and other stakeholders. Airport authorities expressed appreciation for AIRSIAL’s decision to expand operations in Balochistan and encouraged further network expansion, including flights to Lahore and Islamabad. Officials stated that Quetta International Airport has sufficient capacity and facilities to support additional domestic routes.
