Quetta: The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) will begin matriculation examinations across the province from February 10, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti announced on Sunday, warning of uncompromising action against any form of cheating.
In a statement shared on social media platform X, the Chief Minister made it clear that the government’s anti-cheating policy would be enforced without exception, stressing that no leniency would be extended to violators during the examination process.
He said comprehensive arrangements have been finalized to curb malpractice, adding that the police, deputy commissioners and the education department will work in close coordination to ensure examinations are conducted in a transparent and fair manner.
Mir Sarfaraz Bugti further underlined the provincial government’s resolve to eliminate corruption across all sectors, including education. He said strict adherence to merit, transparency and discipline is essential to safeguarding students’ futures and restoring public trust in the examination system.
Reiterating his warning, the Chief Minister said any individual or group found facilitating or engaging in cheating would face strict legal consequences under the law.
