Chagai: The first winter rain has brought a refreshing change to Chagai, with snow covering the mountains and a significant drop in temperature.
The rain, which started over the weekend, has been particularly heavy in the mountainous and plain areas, including the headquarters of Chagai, Dalbandin.
In the plains, the local streams and rivers have overflowed due to the heavy downpour, while Dalbandin also witnessed intermittent rainfall, leading to a notable drop in temperatures.
The situation intensified in the Pak-Afghan border area of Barabcha, where, after the rain, the first snowfall of the season blanketed the mountains with a thick white layer, increasing the chill and causing residents to stay indoors.
On Friday, black clouds covered the sky throughout Dalbandin and the entire district, with the weather turning extremely cold, signaling the arrival of the winter season in full force.
The snowfall and cold temperatures are expected to continue, making it a significant weather event for the region.
